چکیده
Land use affects changes in peak discharge so that it has the potential to cause or prevent flooding. Sago morphological characteristics have absorb more water. This study aimed determine magnitude of change upstream watershed after sago planting. Observations were made on three growth phases palms (initial, middle, and mature phases). The research stages included calculating runoff coefficient value under stands at phases. Peak existing conditions (settlements, rice fields, mixed gardens, shrubs, sand dunes, forests, water bodies) was estimated scenarios land use. consisted 25% area planted with (scenario 1), 50% for scenario 2, 100% 3. data analyzed quantitatively by comparing results. results showed 52.36 m3 hour-1. initial phase 1 18.94 hour-1, 2 37.88 3 75.77 middle 19.01 38.02 76.04 6.38 hour, 12.76 26.55 decreased all phases, except

Impact of Land Use Changes on some Soil Micromorphological Features in Rakat Watershed, Eastern Khuzestan Province
The objective of this study was to investigate the impact of land use change (forest and rangelands to agriculture) on some micromorphological indices of soil quality in part of Rakat watershed, southwest of Iran. Accordingly, intact soil samples from 0-15 and 15-30 cm depths were collected from the above-mentioned land uses, and microstructure, type and abundance of voids, redoximorphic featur...
متن کاملAnalysis of land use changes in the middle Taleghan watershed during a thirty year period
In this study, land use change in the middle Taleghan watershed has been studied and analyzed. First, the land use map of Taleghan Mian watershed was prepared during the last thirty years in four years 1987, 1998, 2008 and 2017. Landsat satellite imagery was used to prepare land use map in four years. In this research, the hybrid classification method (combination of supervized and unsupervized...
متن کاملInvestigating the Land Use Changes in the Upstream of the Zayandehrood Dam (A Study Case: The Toff-sefid Watershed, Chaharmaha and Bakhtiari Provin
River discharge is among the influential factors on the operation of water resources systems and the design of hydraulic structures, such as dams; so the study of it is of great importance. Several effective factors on this non-linear phenomenon have caused the discharge to be assumed as being accidental. According to the basics the chaos theory, the seemingly random and chaotic systems have re...
متن کاملThe effect of land use and discharge changes on the coefficients of suspended sediment rating curve in Zagros forest areas
Extended abstract 1- Introduction The forests of the Zagros vegetation area cover about six million hectares (40%) of Iran's forest area, which is dominated by oak species. These forests are exposed to a number of threats, including land use change, deforestation, over grazing, deliberate and unintentional fires, pest and disease attacks, and climate change. Although accurate and timely...
متن کاملApplication of Remote Sensing in Assessing Land Use Changes in Haraz Watershed
Aims: Land-use change due to human activities is one of the important issues in regional and development planning. The aim of this study was to detect land-use changes using Landsat TM, ETM+, IRS and ASTER satellite imagery. Methodology: In this quasi-experimental study, land-use changes in the Haraz watershed over a 23-year period were evaluated. For this study, images of 1992 TM, ETM + 2002, ...
